The biblical mandate for just behavior extends to all of humanity... As the great Rabbi Hillel teaches, “ That which is hateful to you do not do to another..the rest (of the Torah) is all commentary, now go study....”


To that one can only say one word, "amen."
So where are those reports indicating that Arabs were more concerned about the Iranian threat than that of Israel? We have been constantly saying the opposite. It seems US diplomacy is more concerned by what it likes to hear rather than reality. This is a wake up call but in fact it is too late....! LOL
The black comedy of the Iraqi defector codenamed “Curveball” tells us a lot about how the United States has made such a mess in the Mideast in the aftermath of the most barbaric false flag attack in USA, the Cheney orchestrated inside job of 9/11.....But CIA’s sycophantic director, George Tenet, knowing president Bush and vice president Dick Cheney's criminal plans about 9/11 and the ensuing wars of aggression, Hubris and Hegemony in Eurasia and the Greater Middle East, yearned for war against Iraq, sent “Curveball’s” phony tale to the White House....

This is hardly the first time fakers have made monkeys of US intelligence....who really wanted to use utter garbage for their own Machiavellian planning.... For good example, back in the 1980’s, an Iranian working for Israeli intelligence, Manucher Ghorbanifar, sent president Reagan’s Washington into hysteria with phony tales of non-existent Libyan hit-men....while CIA/DIA/MOSSAD and AMAN were busy arming Iran against Iraq...while USA was fully helping Saddam to stoke the war between the 2 neighbors for years to come...and siphoning money to arm the Contras in central America illegally....

Complete with fanciful drawings of bio-warfare vans.... Powell even fingered a little phial of white powder that everyone took to be anthrax.... It was a performance worthy of Stalin’s Moscow show trials... Behind Powell sat CIA chief assassin George Tenet, and US UN chief John Negroponte, the chief assassin and mentor of death squads in Central America for years....


How Powell, a decent if hardly brilliant man, allowed himself to be made a fool and liar, remains a mystery.... Powell now blames CIA and the Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency... But he, the Bush White House and Congress were fools for swallowing all the lies about the inside Job of 9/11, Iraq, Al-CIAda, and the Infamous White House Murder INC, in the Levant with Asef Shawkat since January 24th 2002, and much much more....

Thanks to collusion between the Bush White House and the cowardly MSM media in the crooked Western World..., over 80 per cent of Americans and peoples all over the world, NOW believe that the 9/11 attacks were an inside Job wall to wall instigated by the MOSSAD/CIA/DIA/AMAN gangsters and executed by the US Deep State apparatus.... WikiLeaks showed US diplomats to be capable and often well informed, but handcuffed in their reporting by the party line set by Washington, Tel Aviv, London, Berlin, Riyadh, etc. The same applies to CIA, where heretical voices were silenced for decades, because the power behind the power in USA, tailors intelligence to their crooked and criminal projects worldwide.... A book about America’s pervasive influence over the Mideast, “American Raj,” subtitled, ‘Liberation or Domination.’ Not a single US publisher would handle the book....is reminiscent of North Korea's Dictatorial rule....

Israel’s behavior always indicated to failure to pursue Arab-Jewish understanding “great omission”. Having the upper hand, Israel always presumes the enemy’s surrender which entailed Israel in self-endangerment and militarization; such a presumption deepened the distrust between Israel and its neighbors and inflicted pain on the region. Jews enjoyed freedom and civil rights in the Middle East side by side with Islam, Christianity with all their various sects for centuries. Accelerating change in the Arab world will alter international politics placing Israel at a crossroad and recall Herzl’s ideas...

لم تكن العقود الأخيرة في الشرق الاوسط سهلة. شهدت انفجارات تركت بصماتها على ملامح المنطقة. رأينا الثورة الايرانية تقتلع نظام الشاه وتفرض قاموساً جديداً... وجيش صدام حسين يتوغل في الاراضي الايرانية. والجيش الاسرائيلي يحتل بيروت ويرغم ياسر عرفات على مغادرتها... رأينا جيش صدام يجتاح الكويت فيهبّ العالم لتأديبه. واتفاق اوسلو يوقع في حديقة الورود في البيت الابيض. وشاهدنا الآلة العسكرية الاميركية تقتلع نظام البعث في العراق. وصدام حسين معلقاً على حبل المشنقة. وجثة رفيق الحريري تحترق في شارع في بيروت... ورأينا حرب تموز في لبنان بكل معانيها ومدلولاتها. كل ما تقدم كان كبيراً ومهماً او خطراً. لكن لا مبالغة في القول ان ما يعيشه الشرق الاوسط حالياً اكثر اهمية وأشد خطورة. وأن المشهد الحالي غير مسبوق. ومثله الخوف الذي يصيب دول المنطقة.

ما يجري ليس غيمة عابرة. يمكن الالتفات الى سوريا وليبيا. واليمن. والجزائر. والمغرب. والبحرين ... هذه ليست رياحاً عابرة. انها عاصفة تضرب الاقليم. والدليل ان تونس لا تعيش في ظل بن علي. ومصر لا تعيش في ظل مبارك. ولا شيء يشير الى ان العاصفة فقدت اندفاعتها. وأن نارها لن تفيض عن مسارحها الحالية. واضح اننا نشهد نهاية حقبة وبداية اخرى.

ليست غيمة عابرة. انها مجموعة من السحب السوداء. تجمعت وتراكمت وتفاقمت شحناتها الكهربائية والمغناطيسية. لهذا تبدو الدول قلقة ومرتبكة. تماماً كما يحدث لطائرة تكتشف فجأة انها دخلت منطقة من المطبات الهوائية العنيفة. وأن الاجهزة التي كان عليها استشعار العواصف عن بعد لم تقم بمهمتها.

غياب السوابق يضاعف صعوبة المعالجة. كانت دول المنطقة تخاف في السابق من تورم أحلام الضباط في الثكن. او من مجموعات تتولى زرع القنابل او قيادة السيارات المفخخة او تنفيذ عمليات انتحارية. او من معارضات تقليدية. تدربت دول المنطقة على مواجهة هذا النوع من التحديات. لكنها تواجه اليوم ما هو اخطر. شبان يتدفقون من الجامعات او الثانويات الى شوارعها. شبان لا ينتمون الى حزب بل يتشاركون في اليأس من الواقع القائم وفي الرغبة في تغييره. لا يحركهم قائد ملهم. شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي تسهل مواعيدهم. والفضاء المفتوح يحميهم من الممارسات التي كانت الدول تلجأ اليها لإسكات الناقمين والمعارضينن وهو ما كانت تسميه وأد الفتنة في مهدها.

المشهد جديد تماماً. يكفي ان تثقب تظاهرة صغيرة هيبة النظام لتصبح الشوارع في عهدة المحتجين. تكبر الجموع وأحلام التغيير. تبدأ ايام الغضب. ثم ترتفع شعارات لم يكن المواطنون قبل ايام يجازفون بترداد مثلها داخل منازلهم. وإذا اطلقت الشرطة الرصاص لتفريق المحتجين يعترض باراك اوباما على الاستخدام المفرط للقوة ويطالب السلطة بمحاورة المحتجين.

المشهد الجديد أشاع الخوف لدى دول الاقليم. الطريقة الوحشية التي تعامل بها نظام القذافي مع الاحتجاجات في بنغازي تكشف حجم مخاوفه. بدد العقيد وقته وثروة بلاده على محاولات اضرام نار الثورات والانتفاضات في الخارج، لكنه اطلق جيشه ولجانه حين ارتفعت هتافات التغيير في بلده. يحب الثورات شرط ان تكون بعيدة. يدعم التغيير شرط ان يكون بعيداً. الطريقة التي تعاملت بها السلطات السورية مع احتجاجات الامس تكشف ايضاً خوفاً عميقاً. الثوراة التي جاءت بقوة الجماهير والشارع تخاف اليوم من الجماهير والشارع.

الارتباك شديد والخوف واضح. والمشهد كئيب ومتفجر. اضاعت دول كثيرة عقوداً متتالية. فقر وتهميش. تعثر التنمية وغياب المؤسسات. تعليم رديء وبطالة. تجمعت السحب القاتمة. الهراوات لا تكفي والرصاص محظور او باهظ التكاليف. لقد انتهى عصر الطمأنينة. الطمأنينة المفرطة مضرة كالقلق الدائم

Up until his January 27 return to Egypt, he had been a member of the Board of Trustees of the International Crisis Group. The ICG is a right-wing (notwithstanding its euphemistic name and stated aims) American globalist think tank and imperial strategist – much like CFR and the Brookings Institute et al – which advises the US government on foreign policy and other matters....
